1. First, install the left part and attach it to the sealing plate.
2. Then install the moving ring on the right side and inspect the surfaces of the moving and stationary rings to ensure they are clean and free of dirt and rust.
3. Then install the flat key and impeller again, and install the gasket and nut. Before installation, carefully check the quantity of mechanical seal parts to ensure that each part is not damaged, especially whether there are any defects such as collision, cracks, or deformation in the dynamic and static rings. If problems occur, repair or replace with new spare parts.
4. Check the chamfer of the shaft sleeve or cover of the centrifugal pump to ensure proper installation. If there are any problems, they must be replaced.
5. The various components of mechanical seals and their related assembly contact surfaces need to be cleaned with acetone or anhydrous alcohol before installation. During the installation process, they need to be kept clean and tidy, especially the dynamic and static rings and auxiliary sealing components should be free of impurities, dust, etc. The surface of the dynamic and static rings needs to be coated with a layer of cleaning oil or turbine oil. The tightening of the gland needs to be done after aligning the coupling, and the bolts need to be tightened to prevent the cross-section of the gland from tilting. Use a feeler gauge or professional tool to check different points to ensure that all errors do not exceed 0.05mm.
6. After installation, the dynamic ring of the centrifugal pump needs to maintain flexible rotation. When pressing the dynamic ring against the spring, it needs to ensure that it can bounce back. First, place the static ring sealing ring around the back of the static ring, and then install it into the sealing cover end. Pay attention to protecting the end face of the static ring, ensuring the perpendicularity of the static ring section and the centerline of the end cover. Align the anti rotation groove on the back of the static ring with the anti rotation pin, and ensure that there is no collision during installation.
