Advantages of Metal Bellows Mechanical Seals

1. The sealing end face of the bellows mechanical seal is subjected to relatively uniform force;
2. The structure is simple, easy to install, highly adaptable, and the stationary ring has floatability.
3. The mechanical seal of corrugated tube has good followability, which can to some extent compensate for the end face clearance (generally required to be less than 1 μ m) caused by factors such as the bending deformation of the shaft, equipment vibration, and coaxiality error between the dynamic and static rings and the shaft sleeve, thereby reducing the leakage of the mechanical seal;
4. The static ring of the bellows mechanical seal is fastened to the mechanical seal cover with bolts. However, most of the static rings of spring type mechanical seals rely on the excessive fit between the O-ring seal and the mechanical seal cover, as well as the action of fluid pressure and the outer spring to seal, which is affected by the fit size and corrosion degree of the cover sealing surface, resulting in poor sealing effect.
5. Compared with large spring mechanical seals, bellows mechanical seals are less affected by surface corrosion of the shaft sleeve;
